THE HOTEL SUITE

This Hotel Suite was 1 out of 2 rooms located in the BCTI Building at Humber College.  A previous group of Interior Decorating students came up with an original Texture concept for the space. This was a group project that Chantel created with 3 other students. The goal was to take the previous concept and enhance it.

The Texture Suite was designed to evoke a sensation of luxury, all while encompassing the previous concept. Dynamic lines flow throughout the space to create a compelling and unified design. A wide variety of high-quality materials and fabrics have been used to create the impression of texture everywhere you look.

The end result is a diverse, technologically advanced hotel room that can be customized to every user.

To the right is the previous Texture concept. Chantel's group and her sketched, brainstormed, and discussed how to enhance the previous design to create a space that professionals at Humber College would want to stay in.

Below is the finished space using Enscape. Fire safety, technology, and accessibility were all taken into consideration when planning the floor plan, and picking the materials and finishes.
